Organization 5.0
The term Organization 5.0 describes an organization that focuses on the use of human skills combined with the technological potential of robots and intelligent systems. Such an organization encompasses three approaches: resilient, green and human-centric.
The Organization 5.0 is an important focal point of CoDEMO, as our goal is enhancing European innovation capacities in the field of value creation for 5.0 organizations.

Resilience
The ability to adapt to adverse situations with positive results. In the context of Organization/Society 5.0 it refers to the requirement for improved production and supply chain robustness, to be more resistant to interruptions or in times of crisis. Resilience is one of the three main approaches of an Organization 5.0.
The CoDEMO Project supports resilience by focusing on competencies oriented toward human and green values, which can reinforce a resilient socio-economic growth.

Green
This concept refers to the necessity for the implementation of circular processes that enable the re-use, repurposing, and recycling of natural resources, which in turn reduces waste and environmental damage.
Sustainable and Green Digitalization is at the heart of CoDEMO.

Human-Centricity
An approach which places essential human needs and interests at the centre. This marks a transition away from a digital-driven paradigm and towards a more human-centric and society-centric approach.
In the context of CoDEMO, the focus is on human factors concepts in order to increase technology acceptance and improve the human-machines interactions.

Knowledge
The outcome of the assimilation of information through learning. Knowledge is the body of facts, principles, theories and practices that is related to a field of work or study.
CoDEMO aims to innovate on the way to deliver knowledge, in collaboration with both academic universities and vocational training entities. To open the access to a large audience, a mix of face to face and blended learning solutions will be developed and adopted.

Skills
The ability to apply knowledge and use know-how to complete tasks and solve problems. They can be cognitive (involving the use of logical, intuitive and creative thinking) or practical (involving manual dexterity and the use of methods, materials, tools and instruments).
CoDEMOs ambition is to use practical learning situations to catalyze the in-practice emergence of skills and competencies, supporting a higher professionalization.

Competencies
The ability to do something successfully or efficiently. They are the set of characteristics of an individual that are observable, measurable and predictive.
The CoDEMO Project will train academic students and vocational trainees to become innovative decision-makers for 5.0 organizations by providing them with the opportunity to learn KSC, for instance through a unique European Open Badge Certification.

Co-creating through a collaborative network
This means engaging in joint creation activities with a network of collaborators.
This aspect is central to the CoDEMO Project, so there is a lot of collaboration and cocreation with institutional, academic, and socio-economic partners.

Approaching challenges with innovation, creativity, and a proactive, business-minded perspective.
CoDEMO aims to increase innovation capabilities in the European economy at a large scale, in particular in the three sectors agri-food, industry and healthcare.

Transitioning individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired future state. Often, this involves planning, communication, and adaptation
The CoDEMO Project practices change management by developing a new training offer for 5.0 decision-makers, in order to support the transformation of European enterprises from 4.0 (focus on digitalization and technologies) to 5.0 (Green, Resilient, Human-Centric).

Effective processing, examination, and accurate understanding of information in order to seek meaningful insights.

In the context of CoDEMO, this concept is implemented through establishing a long-term international community on 5.0 value

Considering interconnections and interdependencies of components within a system in order to address challenges comprehensively.

Creating and employing technologies that optimize resource utilization for minimal environmental impact.
CoDEMO uses the vision of 5.0 society to ensure the convergence between Digital Innovation and Green Skills, which transform a technological vision of Digitalization into a sustainable and green perspective.

Managing and Disseminating Knowledge across the Network/Team
Effectively organizing and sharing information within a group or network to enhance collective understanding.
The CoDEMO Project is aiming to implement a European e-sharing platform to support the community of knowledge and practice. This platform will make available all pieces of knowledge generated by the project, such as educational material, case studies etc. in order to build an open active community for knowledge, skills and competence recognition.

Managing the Quality of Working Life
Ensuring a positive and fulfilling work experience for employees through supportive policies and practices.
Such practices could be other human-centric strategies, such as supporting work/life balance and demonstrating positive attitudes and behaviors.
